One of 40 different community gatherings during my stay in Uganda. Pastors Alex, Stephen, and I spoke to the groups and each individual to identify what it would take to improve their lives. The list consists of many basic needs we in the US take for granted.
One 92-year-old woman asked if she could have a mattress to sleep on as she has always slept on a straw mat on a dirt floor. Another asked for medicine for her granddaughter, who was suffering from epilepsy.
